Everything you need to know before starting therapy

What is therapy like?
Therapy is a collaborative process. In our sessions, you’ll find a safe, confidential space to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we’ll explore what’s been challenging, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and discover new ways to move forward. Each session is guided by your goals, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to cope with life’s challenges, therapy can help. Many people begin therapy when they’re ready for change — even if they’re not sure what that change looks like yet. The first session is a good opportunity to discuss your concerns and see if it feels like a good fit.

Our first meeting is an opportunity to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you hope to achieve. You can also ask any questions about my approach or the process itself. My goal is to help you feel safe, supported and understood.

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, the nature of your concerns, and your personal pace of growth. Some people find relief after a few months, while others choose to continue therapy as an ongoing form of support and personal development. We’ll discuss what works best for you and revisit your progress regularly.
